This gorgeous silver pendant gets its minimalist air from Stephanie’s ingenious play on the natural crystal shapes – the hexagonal gem is set in a contemporary bezel and supported by a soft triangular shape. This scrumptious pendant really shows off the shape and concentric pattern of the colourful watermelon tourmaline. Tourmaline crystals generally form as long triangular or sometimes hexagonal crystals. It isn’t until your slice across the crystal the this special feature is revealed. The most common colours are pink centres with green exterior band – hence the name watermelon tourmaline, but other colours are also found.
